On Dorset I (of XIII)

Hot foot from life’s race

n.b. Piddle or Puddle is the river that runs off the chalk downs of Dorset. The towns and villages are themselves confused: Tolpuddle; Puddletown; Piddlehinton; Piddletrenthide. The puddles are further downhill from the piddles, so clearly size is a factor in the naming here.
